ABOUT THE DESIGNER

It is impossible to sum up what a privilege it is to work with Kristin in one paragraph. I'd need an entire book to do it justice. Kristin is the most patient, kind, and creatively inspirational designer you could hope for. She has taken each one of my very loose ideas and conjured up unique, yet still trending designs that are not only gorgeous but inspire me to continue writing. Working with her is easily becoming my favorite part of the book creation process. Her portfolio speaks for itself, but the one thing you should know about Kristin is that she is a designer who is truly in an author's corner. She won't rest until you're beyond happy. While she is extremely professional, she also breathes such empathy and love into her work. It shows. You'll see all my published books stamped K.B. Barrett Designs for as long as she'll have me.

Set up a Consultation with me! This can be done before or after you have a booking slot with me, but this is where we start! We will talk about your project, your ideas, and what your marketing strategy is! The good thing is this can be done either through a phone call, a zoom call, or even email or messenger!
Set your Booking Date! This can be done before or after your consultations with me, however this is when I put you in our roster and set your official date! This date is the day you will receive your mockups from us!
I get to work on your designs! I do this using the notes from our consultations, research into your specific marketing strategy, and I also stalk your socials and pages to make sure that any design we might be using will fit with your brand!
Mockups of your designs are sent out on or before your booking date! They are sent out using a secure link through our client management system.
This is where we will make any changes needed till not only is your design perfect for your book and marketing strategy, but you absolutely love it! I’m not happy till your happy!
And That’s a Wrap! After everything is set and you are completely happy with your designs, I will finish everything up and get your designs sent out to you!
